Repairing or repairing the sewer lines can be extremely costly, and that's just thinking about the sewer line price alone; this doesn't account for the thousands of dollars it costs to pay to dig up your yard to access the pipe, the effort to do so, and all the landscaping you're going to have to replace to fix the mess that was made.

On top of this, more than just the pipe, a damaged or burst sewer line will take a toll, it will have an effect on your house with problems such as backed up and overflowing appliances, water damage, and a messed up yard. So, it is not something you can put off or wait to patch a burst sewer line; it has to be repaired immediately. Unfortunately, it would be an extremely expensive and frustrating repair using conventional methods of sewer line repair. Fortunately, technology has come a long way, and many improvements have been made that allow us to replace and repair underground sewage lines without having to invest your entire savings account or look at a completely excavated yard.

What is Trenchless Pipe Replacement?

Pipelining is regarded as one method of trenchless sewer line repair. This technique only allows you to make one small hole to penetrate the broken pipe and access it. A line made of a hard epoxy is then inserted into the entry point and the interior of the old pipe is lined. To keep the lining in place before the new epoxy lining is set, an air-filled bladder that looks similar to a balloon is then inserted.

Using this modern trenchless technique only takes a few hours, a complete business day at most, instead of taking upwards of a few days as conventional sewer line repair techniques do. Lining the damaged pipe with epoxy takes a matter of minutes, and then the mixture takes just 3-4 hours to recover. The bladder is removed from the line after the healing phase, and a robotic camera is inserted to ensure that all the damage is properly repaired. This new technique will last for 50 years or more and performs so well that subsequent issues rarely occur.
