What brought you here?

Four routes that cover most of what people call about. Pick the closest one.

Water is escaping right now

A burst line, a tank leaking from its body, or water you cannot shut off. Close the main valve first, then call.

Emergency steps

Something is blocked or draining slowly

One fixture or the whole house. What is affected tells us roughly where the blockage sits before anyone arrives.

Drain and sewer help

No hot water, or not enough of it

Three different complaints with three different causes. Sediment from hard water is behind a lot of them here.

Water heater help

Scale, spotting and soap that will not lather

That is hardness, and valley water is officially very hard. A softener is the equipment that changes it.

Local water

Las Vegas water is the reason half these calls happen

The Las Vegas Valley Water District measures local hardness at 291 parts per million, or 17 grains per gallon, and classifies it very hard. Around 90 percent of Southern Nevada drinking water comes from Lake Mead, and the calcium and magnesium responsible are carried in from the mineral dense Colorado River.

That one fact sits underneath a large share of the plumbing work in this valley. It is why water heaters fill with sediment and start rumbling, why faucet cartridges and toilet flappers wear out early, why glassware comes out of a working dishwasher spotted, and why soap will not lather properly.

It is also why water softener work is not a sideline here. Treating the water is frequently the cheapest way to stop paying for the damage it does.

How we work

How we work

We are a new site for a valley plumbing company, and we would rather tell you how we operate than make claims you cannot check.

1

Diagnosis before a quote

We find the cause before pricing a fix. A fixture replaced to solve a pressure problem that lived in the regulator is a bill for nothing, and it is the most common wasted spend in this trade.

2

The price in writing, first

Scope and price go in writing before work starts, including what is excluded. If the job opens up into something bigger, that gets quoted and approved separately rather than appearing on the invoice.

3

Both options, with the reasoning

Repair against replace, spot repair against reroute, softener against filter. You get both numbers and what each buys you, because the cheaper option today is not always the cheaper decision.

4

Claims you can check, or none at all

The hard water numbers on this site come from the Las Vegas Valley Water District and you can go and read them. We would rather cite a source than describe ourselves with adjectives.

FAQ

Common questions

What areas do you serve?

The Las Vegas Valley and Clark County, including Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Paradise, Spring Valley, Sunrise Manor, Enterprise, Summerlin, Whitney and Winchester.

How hard is the water in Las Vegas?

The Las Vegas Valley Water District reports 291 parts per million, which is 17 grains per gallon, and classifies it very hard. Neighbouring systems in North Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City draw from the same Colorado River supply.

Do you install and repair water softeners?

Yes, including installation, repair, replacement and annual maintenance. Sizing is done against a hardness test at your tap and your household grain load rather than from a generic chart.

Do you work on all makes and models of water softener?

We service softeners across the common brands. We are not presenting ourselves as an authorised dealer for any manufacturer, so anything still under warranty should go through the warranty holder first.

Do you handle both residential and commercial plumbing?

Yes. Commercial work is normally scheduled around trading hours, and in multi unit property we identify which line failed and on which side of the demise before the repair.

How do I know a plumber is licensed in Nevada?

Check the public licence lookup maintained by the Nevada State Contractors Board. It shows whether a licence is active and what classification it holds, and it is worth doing rather than trusting a number on a website.
